On Wednesday, Nov. 2, at approximately 6:15 p.m., Acton Police and Fire were called to Great Road, in the area of Harris Street, for a report of a crash. An intensive investigation collected video surveillance from nearby businesses to identify a vehicle of interest in the case, and Acton Police subsequently obtained a search warrant and seized that vehicle. The ongoing investigation has since identified the individual who was allegedly driving the vehicle at the time. Acton Police have been in contact with the family of the victim in an effort to keep them informed of the progress of investigators. “This has been an intense and lengthy investigation, but we were committed to identifying the driver in this case,” said Chief Burrows. “I want to thank the community and the victim’s family for their patience, and I commend our Acton Police investigators on their diligence and commitment to a difficult case.” More info: https://ift.tt/CbkHjuT
