*CHELMSFORD BOARD OF HEALTH BEACH GUIDELINES* EFFECTIVE MAY 25, 2020: In accordance with Guidelines issued by Governor Baker: *All beach visitors must wear a face covering or mask when they cannot maintain 6 feet of distance between themselves and others. (Exceptions: children under 2 and people with medical conditions preventing the use of masks) *Masks are not required to be worn while swimming. *No groups larger than 10 people may gather. *Maintain a minimum of 12 ft. distance between toweling/beach blanket groups. *No loitering or tailgating allowed in the parking areas. *Organized ball games are not allowed. These include (but not limited to): volleyball, Kan Jam, spikeball, football, soccer, Kadima, and bocce. *When visiting beaches without trash receptacles, a "carry in, carry out" policy is in effect. Visitors are to take their waste with them when they leave the premises. *No Lifeguard on Duty! Swim at your own risk! FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE ABOVE GUIDELINES WILL RESULT IN THE CLOSURE OF THE BEACH BY THE CHELMSFORD BOARD OF HEALTH. More info: https://ift.tt/2wr1YAI
