Fallen officer laid to rest in Lowell
Hundreds of police officers file into the Immaculate Conception Church in Lowell Friday evening to pay their respects to local native Officer Katherine “Katie” Thyne, who lost her life on duty with police in Newport News, Virginia last week. Thyne will be buried next to her father in the Lowell Cemetery on Saturday morning.
