Miranda Warning System: Fri @ 500pm via Aaron Curtis Lowell Sun: "UPDATE: A spokesperson for the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office has just confirmed they will be releasing information about the incident. BREAKING: The Lowell Police and first responders are on scene for a reported shooting inside an apartment building at 1335 Pawtucket Blvd., located in Westminster Village. Initial reports indicate a 28‑year‑old man has suffered a gunshot wound to the chest. CPR is in progress. Officers say a firearm has been secured. The initial call involved possible gunshots and a man claiming he had disarmed an individual and did so out of self-defense. A witness who lives in the building told me he heard three or four gunshots. Still waiting on official information."
